New Shoes

Braid USA hooked me up with some wheels for the Cayman

18x9" Front.

18x10" Rear

My buddy Michael at Specialty Motorsports helped me mount them up with his tire machines.

285/35/18 NT05s for the rear.

255/35/18s for the front.

2000 miles now. Fully broken in and almost ready for the track. Just working on some custom coilovers and I'll be ready. 

1000 Mile Impressions

So just hit a thousand miles on the swap. Haven't had any issues. Accidentally drove for 30 minutes with my blinker on so I connected the hi-beam and blinker indicators to the Motorsport Dash. Other than that I haven't done anything besides changing the oil.

The exhaust is pretty loud, I wear ear plugs on road trips.. 

The Quartermaster clutch really works but it does chatter. That is to be expected of a 7.25 unsprung twin plate clutch though..

Preparing for suspension, brakes and wheels next. Then cage, and full track prep.
